Navy JAG Corps Judge Advocate General's Corps

This two-week course prepares non-lawyer military personnel to assist the command with military jus-tice procedure and evidence. This course also provides basic training in topics such as administrative separation processing, standards of conduct, and administrative investigations. Students will gain and demonstrate proficiency in drafting charges and act as a recorder for an administrative separation board. This legal training is accomplished through lectures, practical exercises, and examinations.

This course is open to O-1 to O-4, who are designated in writing as Legal Officers or who will be assuming the role of Legal Officer within 6 months, and to enlisted Paralegals on independent duty.
