To provide defense services to area Sailors, Marines and Coastguardsmen.

Walk-in Procedure
Defense:
Walk-ins accepted; call (850) 452-3737 for an appointment.Legal Assistance:
Walk-ins for active duty service members and their dependants on Tuesdays and Thursdays 0800-0930; call (850) 452-3734 for an appointment.Telephone Policy
It is Commander Naval Legal Service Command (CNLSC) policy that no legal advice to a prospective client may be given over the telephone or through third parties calling on behalf of the prospective clients absent exigent circumstances, such as when dealing with clients at remote locations. Service members who are unable to appear at our walk-in hours should call the office for further guidance.

Legal assistance in the Navy is provided to all active duty service members, reservists on active duty for 30 days or more, retirees from all branches of the service, and their lawful dependents. However, legal assistance is provided based upon available resources and personnel. In order to receive assistance, one would need to go to a legal assistance office in person and present his/her current military ID card. We cannot give advice/assistance via e-mail or over the phone.
