Being an attorney in the Navy is a prestigious and sought-after position that will bring you fulfillment and add valuable professional distinction to your resume, whether you join for a few years or for an entire career. Competition is intense, with a selection rate of approximately 4-8%. All candidates are judged on the “whole-person concept” and only the best-suited individuals are professionally recommended.
The process is comprised of two phases: a professional recommendation and a Navy commission. Applicants are under no obligation until they are offered and accept a commission with the Navy at the conclusion of both phases.
Results for the 2013 Spring Accessions Board are expected in early May. Application deadlines for 2013-2014 will be announced in August.
