Capt. Stu Belt retired after 25 years of service in the Pentagon Hall of Heroes on May 22, 2014. Vice Adm. Nan DeRenzi, the judge advocate general of the Navy, presented his wife with a certificate of appreciation for her support to her husband during the ceremony while Rear Adm. James W. Crawford, III, the deputy judge advocate general of the Navy, and Capt. Eva Loser, the master of ceremonies, looked on from the podium.
